Kano has released a short documentary in follow up to the release of latest album “Hoodies All Summer”. The documentary provides a behind the scenes look at recording sessions with Kano alongside other collaborators and an insight into the overall creative process and mental space Kano was in when making the album. Kano can be seen in the studio with the likes of Popcaan, Ghetts and D Double E with commentary on production from Jodi Milliner and Blue May.

You can really see why this project was so special through watching the film. Kano clearly gave a lot when putting this album together with some tracks being said to have been in the works for over a year. It is such a treat to be able to see how the verses for tracks like “Cant Hold Me Down” with Popcaan and “Class of Deja” with Ghetts and D Double E came about. The energy in some of those sessions look incredible.

Check out the documentary in full above and let us know what you thought down below. What did you think of the album and what were your favourite tracks? Personally I loved “Class of Deja”, “Cant Hold Me Down” and “Free Years Later”. If you still haven’t listened to the album yet, you can check it out here.
