J. Cole’s label imprint, Dreamville Records just dropped their highly anticipated “Revenge of the Dreamers III” project. It was just under a month ago when we started to hear more from the album like “Down Bad” and “Got Me” after Cole first released “Middle Child” back in January.

The project showcases the best of the best in talent that Dreamville has to offer from the likes of J. Cole, JID, Bas, Ari Lennox & EARTHGANG with notable features and collaborations also laced throughout the impressive 18 track offering.

This project acts as the third instalment within the Revenge of the Dreamers series, with fans having to wait much longer between the 2nd and 3rd edition than the initial 1st and 2nd project. The project was initially teased by J. Cole via Twitter back in January of this year.

Just hours before the project released J. Cole took to Twitter once more to introduce the album to fans:

Revenge album dropping [tonight]. Know that this album represents community and the unheard unsung artist that fight and bleed daily to be felt. There will be someone you never heard of on this album. Look them up and support them if they resonate with you. A follow goes a long way. Same goes for the producers that go unheard and make beats all day every day hoping to cut through. To the producers and artists that came through but didn’t make the album, you are there in spirit. Thank you for your presence, the energy of those sessions was the most magical. Thank you to Every artist on Dreamville for allowing me to be a part of your journey and in turn inspiring me and making me proud constantly. I’m proud of y’all for this album.

The album was supposedly recorded in Atlanta over a 10 day time period with an insane roster of artist’s invited to collaborate on the project. Apparently there was over 120 tracks recorded for the project which was stripped down to the final 18 records featured above.

Let us know what you think of the album down in the comments below, personally really feeling “Sacrifices” and “1993”. Stay tuned for more from the album roll out as it arrives. If you missed it you can catch a behind the scenes look at the making of the album through the link here.
